Nostalgia is stronger than ever as Eddie Murphy rekindles a second film from his past, this time with a new chapter in the ‘Beverly Hills Cop’ saga with ‘Axel F.’ That sweet sweet soundtrack theme greets us in the trailer and it is glorious.
He previously was featured in the new ‘Coming 2 America’ film on Amazon MGM Studios and has another blast from the past with his beloved character Axel Foley. But he isn’t the only actor from the original film coming back for another helping of trouble and antics. Judge Reinhold, John Ashton, and Paul Reiser are back alongside Kevin Bacon and Joseph Gordon-Levitt.
This is the fourth ‘Beverly Hills Cop’ film in the now franchise that kicked off in 1984.
SYNOPSIS:
Detective Axel Foley (Eddie Murphy) is back on the beat in Beverly Hills. After his daughter’s life is threatened, she (Taylour Paige) and Foley team up with a new partner (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) and old pals Billy Rosewood (Judge Reinhold) and John Taggart (John Ashton) to turn up the heat and uncover a conspiracy.
Axel hits the streets again next Summer 2024 on Netflix.
