Esther, everyone’s lovable creepy F’n kid (or is she) is back with a prequel to the original 2009 film ‘Orphan.’ The new film is appropriately called ‘Orphan: First Kill’ and brings back star Isabelle Fuhrman as the terrifying saga continues in this thrilling prequel to the original and shocking horror hit. After orchestrating a brilliant escape from an Estonian psychiatric facility, Esther travels to America by impersonating the missing daughter of a wealthy family. Yet, an unexpected twist arises that pits her against a mother who will protect her family from the murderous “child” at any cost.
Credit: Paramount +I really did adore the first film and am excited to see where they can take this one. It is interesting to see Fuhrman come back to play the role 13 amount of years later and not look that much older. I wonder if they had to use any de-aging tech to help the cause. The film also stars Rossif Sutherland and Julia Stiles as her mother.
